====== ReadMe ====== Conrad Blucher Institute. 2020. Realitos Peninsula PWL data. Data Set. Corpus Christi: Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. https://doi.org/10.25745/vmxr-ax23 ================= Notes to the user ================= The data starts by a header row "date+time,XXX-pwl" where XXX is the historical station number assigned by CBI. "pwl" stands for primary water level measurements typically obtained with an acoustic sensor. The rest of file consists of rows each representing a 6-minute increment with a time stamp following the ISO 8601 standard, referenced to the Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT) or Zulu Time (Z), and the measurements are in meters referenced to the station's datum: "YYYY-MM-DDT00:00:00Z",0.000 Caution: If you download the .csv data, the data may be opened automatically by MS Excel which has a maximum of 1,048,576 rows. The full data set will not be loaded by Excel. To open the complete dataset, save the file and open with a software that can support the size of the dataset (e.g. Notepad or Notepad++). ============================== Files included in this dataset ============================== RealitosPeninsula_RawDataOnly.csv RealitosPeninsula_RawDataOnly.txt These files provide times series of raw water levels in meters, i.e. the data as originally received and stored at CBI. Two processed versions of the raw time series are in the works, a time series of water levels after removing all data deemed unphysical and a times series after filling gaps using a peer reviewed method based on backup water level measurements.
