Description
Exterior of Mathis school house. Photo captioned: "Shows the typocal dilapidated. Inadequate, rotting, old shack which is one of the main stays of the 'Mexican Ward School of Mathis.' Notice rottening lumbar, no screens, no screen doors. Improper lighting. No fly proofing or rat proofing. Inside it is dark, crowded and inadequate."
