Abstract

Color, texture, form and time. All of these elements of design are found throughout nature. We’re surrounded by them as they appear in all things. My thesis seeks out perfection, but also recognizes and appreciates and anomalies of shape, texture and form. I’ve drawn my inspiration through the contemplation of everyday objects and landscapes, from the mundane to the other worldly. These abstract forms translate the dangerous, transforming the dangerous, ugly and repulsive into something truly beautiful.
