Description
William C. Harvin, Chairman of the United States Circuit Judge Nominating Commission, writes the Jimmy Carter, President of the United States, regarding his request for assistance to fill certain designated vacancies on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. The Panel proceeded with executive order 12059 to determine eight persons from the State of Louisiana and fifteen persons from the State of Texas qualified to fill the vacancies.
