Dr. Everett L. Holt, Director of the Family Practice Residency Program, writes to Dr. Hector P. Garcia that the Executive Committee of Memorial Medical Center voted to support the TMA proposed amendment to the bill S.B. 44 in the Senate and H.B. 159 in the House of Representatives. The purpose for the bill was to alleviate the financial plight of certain “primary teaching hospitals” and advocates pushing for the adoption of the TMA amendment for the bill to be passed.
