Description

Dr. Hector P. Garcia, Founder of the American G.I. Forum U.S., writes to members of the Mexican American Caucus asking them to support Senator Bentsen's Bill NO. Senate Bill NO. 665 to create an office of Hispanic Affairs in the White House. He pleads for members to send telegrams as individuals, groups, and organizations to the Senator and The President to let them know they favor such an office. Included is a newspaper article and a Congressional Record regarding Benten's Bill.
