Abstract
Description
Cathy Vasquez, Capitol City Coordinator for the Texas Farm Workers Union, writes to Dr. Hector P. Garcia in hopes of swaying three needed votes to get House Bill 227 to the floor. She explains the current situation with ongoing strikes being exploited by growers. She is discouraged by some of the responses she received in her effort to get basic rights for farm-workers.
