To use the longterm remote-sensor data, this article presents a system that produces consistent intersensor calibration and atmospheric correction for coastal waters. The system can process all five High Resolution Picture Transmission (HRPT) file formats from the twelve (12) AVHRR sensors that operated from the 1980s to the present.
