askSam. text-oriented data base management system, Version 1.x - Second Edition was released. October 1985 - This software product created by Dr. Mack McKinney, Jr., was first released in April 1985. A 4-color full page ad had previously announced this new product in PC WORLD MAGAZINE. A Press Release and copies of the NEW PRODUCE were available for review.
