Dr. Hector makes remarks in which he mentions The Longoria Affair, addressed several statements that Mexican Americans here frequently, segregation in education, and the history of Texas, the United States, and Spanish. His speech encourages attendees to have pride in their Mexican culture and to be bilingual. challenging the young people to take roles of leadership in this country and their fathers to teach Spanish.
