Two correspondences. Carlos F. Truan, United States Senator, writes to the School Tax Assessor-Collector about inquiries regarding the newly-authorized ad valorem school tax exemption. He requests that the office provide an extension to apply due to confusion. Mark White, Attorney General of Texas, writes to the Honorable Bob Bullock, Comptroller of Public Accounts, responding to his questions about the language in article VIII, section 1-b(b) of the Texas Constitution which authorizes ad valorem tax exemptions for disabled persons.
