Abstract

Description

Two correspondences. The National Coalition on the Hanigan Case writes to the Honorable Griffin B. Bell, Attorney General, expressing their concern that the grand juries for the Hanigan and Sinohui cases will fail to secure indictments and ultimate convictions. They discuss previous cases in which grand juries have “investigated” brutality cases and failed to request indictments. The Tucson Coalition For Justice writes to Benjamin R. Civiletti, United States Attorney General, voicing their concern of the Department of Justice's delay in indictment.
